||We have had many requests to offer a program for our younger children. Beginning with the Fall 2019 season, we have extended the MiniKicker program to accept children starting at age 4 (2017 birth dates).
||In an ongoing effort to improve the safety of our athletes, coaches within BYSA will be required to obtain online certification in concussion awareness via the CDC and SafeSport, an independent nonprofit committed to ending all forms of abuse in sport. We appreciate our volunteers and the time required to provide soccer for our children.
|| If you are considering our travel programs, please register for that division only. Travel teams require tryouts and you will be indicating your interest in participating in this process. If your child does not qualify for the travel team, we will automatically place them in the appropriate recreation division.

||During the registration process, you will be required to agree with the BYSA Code of Conduct for Parents and Players. Please take the time to review this policy.
||With the increasing emphasis and player safety, we are providing an informational document on concussion information with each registration. This document provides some high level information on what a concussion is, what symptoms you should look for and what actions you should consider if you suspect a concussion. This is not a replacement for a medical diagnosis, and we encourage each parent, if they suspect their child has suffered a concussion, to seek appropriate medical treatment. Our web site also contains additional links under the Parents tab on this topic for a more comprehensive list of concussion information.
||We have posted a number of illustrated tutorials relating to the various system processes. These are available under the System Tips tab above.
